Software Testing is the process of investigating the quality of a product or service in order to provide stakeholders with a view of its success. In March 2010, the BCS (The Chartered Institute for IT, which provides ISEB Software Testing qualifications) and the UK Testing Board (UKTB) signed an agreement which will see BCS working more closely with UKTB and ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) to provide one single International Software Testing Certification Scheme - the ISTQB Certified Tester scheme.
